Been using F-Secure SAFE for a year. Excellent protection. Easy to use. Simple interface (compared to competitors). No annoying popups (if F-Secure alerts you to something--rarely--it's something important). I give it 4.25 stars out of 5 (would be 4.9 stars if it had a dedicated firewall). I'll never go back to Norton (3.5 stars) or Bitdefender (3 stars). I only recommend F-Secure or ESET now... or, for the right user, Bullguard or Sophos are pretty good.
BONUS: F-Secure is a Finland company, not a Russian (Kaspersky) or Slovakian one (BitDefender). Also, you can buy F-Secure with PayPal (or credit card); many competitors demand a credit card only. No auto-renewal is required (you can easily disable or enable).
The only downsides are:

1. It pushes its own browser extensions. They are not necessary, though some users may like the website ratings thing. And in the newest version (18.0), you can now dismiss the warnings that the browser extensions are not installed.
2. No built-in firewall. This is a huge flaw, in my opinion. F-Secure USED to have their own firewall, but they removed it. Now it depends on Windows firewall. However, F-Secure still provides great protection, and is highly-ranked (see av-test). If you want extra protection, you can install something like SimpleWall, or even use VoodooShield (not a firewall, but very useful). They work fine alongside F-Secure SAFE.
